Our participation at Interpack 2026 was a remarkable success and brought great satisfaction to the entire Silfa team. The exhibition represented an important opportunity to strengthen long-standing relationships with our historical customers while opening discussions with new partners and exploring exciting development projects in the fields of food packaging, coffee packaging, aseptic filling solutions, and chemical metal packaging.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited our stand and shared inspiring conversations surrounded by the extraordinary metal animal sculptures created by the Italian artist Andrea Cereda. These masterpieces, crafted from recycled steel components, transformed our booth into much more than a showcase for industrial packaging: they became symbols of innovation, sustainability and the values that drive our company every day.
Innovation in Metal Packaging for Food and Chemical Industries
Interpack 2026 marked several important milestones for Silfa Metal Packaging.
New Closure Solutions for the Coffee Industry
We introduced innovative closure systems specifically designed for the coffee packaging industry, offering improved product preservation, safety and user convenience. Our solutions meet the growing demands of coffee roasters and manufacturers seeking reliable and high-performance metal packaging.
Advanced Technology for General Line Packaging
We presented significant technological developments for our General Line production, further enhancing the quality and efficiency of our metal containers for the chemical industry, including packaging solutions for:
- Automotive fluids
- Lubricants
- Paints and varnishes
- Industrial chemicals
- Specialty products
Sustainable Regenerated Conical Drums for Aseptic Filling
One of the highlights of the exhibition was our eco-friendly project dedicated to regenerated conical steel drums for aseptic bag-in-drum applications and chemical products.
Designed for producers of tomato paste, fruit concentrates, purees and other aseptic products, our regenerated conical drums combine durability, safety and sustainability. Thanks to steel’s infinite recyclability, these solutions contribute to reducing environmental impact while ensuring the highest standards required by the food and chemical sectors.
When Steel Becomes Art
The exhibition was not only about technological innovation. It was also an artistic experience demonstrating that the material we work with every day can express something greater: it can become language, reflection and a symbol of values.
Each sculpture created by Andrea Cereda embodies principles that inspire both our work and our vision of the future.
The Yellow Bear: The Resilience of Recycled Steel
Forged from burnt and painted steel sheets recovered from industrial drums, the Yellow Bear tells a story of transformation. Every mark left by time and fire speaks of resilience and renewal.
Rather than ending its life as waste, steel finds a second life, stronger and more valuable than before. This sculpture symbolises our commitment to sustainable metal packaging and our belief that recycled steel is not merely a resource, but a promise of durability and responsibility.
The Green Elephant: The Strength of Sustainability
With its imposing silhouette and vibrant green finish, the Green Elephant represents the harmony between industry and nature.
Crafted from recycled steel sheets, its majestic presence reflects one of Silfa’s core values: sustainability. Since steel is 100% recyclable, it remains at the heart of our operations and allows us to develop environmentally responsible solutions for the food and chemical industries.
The Green Elephant is the symbol of a future where manufacturing excellence and environmental protection progress together.
The Blue Giraffe: Innovation and Long-Term Vision
Elegant and looking upward, the Blue Giraffe embodies innovation and vision.
Made from reclaimed steel components and featuring eyes created from recycled bucket rivets, this sculpture symbolizes the ability to look beyond the present and anticipate future challenges.
At Silfa, research and development drive the creation of intelligent and durable metal packaging solutions for coffee, aseptic filling and chemical applications. Our commitment to continuous innovation ensures products that combine performance, sustainability and aesthetics.
The Red Monkey: Passion and Ethical Responsibility
Powerful and expressive, the Red Monkey celebrates passion, responsibility and ethical business practices.
Its structure, composed of burnt steel sheets and a solid iron framework, radiates energy and determination. Every recovered component assembled by Andrea Cereda reflects the same philosophy that guides our company: producing high-quality metal packaging while remaining committed to values, people and the environment.
The Red Monkey reminds us that steel can become much more than a material, it can become a language, a reflection and a symbol of responsible entrepreneurship.
